Dr Lauren Joseph

After graduating from medical school in 2007, Lauren completed her internship and community service in Pietermaritzburg and East London respectively. Thereafter she pursued her dream of specializing in Anaesthesia and Critical Care at the University of Stellenbosch. She continued to work in the Public Sector as a Consultant before entering the Private domain in 2019 as an independent practitioner and joined Cape Anaesthetics Inc. as a full time associate in 2022. She still has an active role in the Public domain with regular sessions at the Red Cross Children’s Hospital whereby she is still involved in clinical work, training and teaching of registrars and students.
