Dr Greg Torr

Dr. Greg Torr qualified as a medical doctor in 1986 and went on to specialise in Anaesthetics, completing his training in 1995. Over the course of a career spanning more than three decades, he has gained extensive anaesthesia experience, including over 25 years in private practice. While primarily based in KwaZulu-Natal and Cape Town, his professional journey has also included time in the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. As a member of Cape Anaesthetics Inc., Dr. Torr provides anaesthetic care across a broad range of surgical disciplines, with long-standing collaborations alongside a urologist, an ENT surgeon specialising in head and neck tumours, and two cosmetic surgeons. He has also served as the chairperson of Cape Anaesthetics for more than ten years. Outside of medicine, his interests include cycling, gardening, food and wine, and travel.
